Cornerstone Managed Properties (The CMP Group) corporate offices are located at 33699 Lear Industrial Parkway in Avon, Ohio, just off of Nagel Road - located 17 miles west of Cleveland.
The company acquired and renovated this structure in December of 2007 to provide a central location for its business operations. The new building now includes nine offices, a conference room, fitness center, kitchen, storage area and garage. The space is designed to accommodate future growth.
Cornerstone Managed Properties' corporate office is home to their acquisition, management, marketing and operations teams. In addition CMP's corporate office hosts their finance, accounting, human resources and IT department.
CMP is owned and operated by James E. Dixon and Steven J. Egger. Each of them have exceptional business backgrounds. Each owner is actively involved in the renovation and management of the business-working with contractors and other professionals to yield the best possible results on schedule and under budget.
Jim Dixon worked in the mortgage industry for thirteen years before investing in real estate development in 2004. Through his experience in the mortgage business, Jim is skilled in identifying, negotiating and developing rehabilitation plans for purchased properties. He has assembled an impressive portfolio of investments together with other developers and is a respected leader in the Ohio region for real estate management and development. Jim is a graduate of Marquette University.
Steve Egger has an extensive sales, marketing and operations background - including management of multi-family properties where he increased occupancy from 70% to 95% in a period of six months. He has successfully developed a model that combines the implementation of an aggressive marketing strategy, flawless operations program, and an efficient business plan with professional sales to maximize both occupancy and retention. Steve is a graduate of Bowling Green State University.
Brian Durny brings a diverse professional background to CMP. Working for major sports entities such as the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Pirates, Brian played an intricate role in the daily management of both organizations. He was able to hone his business skills working for MBNA and Socius Executive Search. Brian earned his undergraduate degree in Sport Management from Slippery Rock University, and in 2007 obtained his MBA in Finance from Cleveland State University.
Nicole Iacianci has successfully managed high-performing portfolios throughout the northeastern, Ohio region for over a decade. Her professional accomplishments include the development and implementation of effective management and operational systems, training programs and quality standards designed for optimum resident satisfaction and overall efficiency. Nicole is recognized for her results-oriented management style. This includes establishing accurate business projections, budget development, strategic planning and cost reduction initiatives to continuously increase revenue and decrease operating costs. Nicole is a graduate of Heidelberg College where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She holds a Masters of Arts from Bowling Green State University. Nicole is a Certified Property Manager (CPM), a designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Linda Thiel comes to the CMP Group with 15 years experience in marketing and communications. She is recognized throughout the region for excellence in developing and executing innovative, results oriented marketing and advertising strategies. Just prior to coming to CMP, Linda operated a marketing and communications firm. Her diverse client base included not only multi-family developers, but also hospitals, retail, political campaigns and not for profit organizations. She built her business and reputation on delivering successful campaigns that consistently exceed projected results. Linda is a graduate of the University of Toledo.
Diana Gunn is the executive assistant. Her responsibilities encompass multiple aspects of the operation. Diana brings twelve years of banking experience to CMP and is recognized for her unsurpassed organizational skills. Her responsibilities include negotiating on behalf of the company for the procurement of building materials and works closely with other team members to ensure that the organization is operated with the greatest possible efficiency.
Matthew Gunn is the Director of Information Technology. In this position, Matthew manages the entire scope of technology throughout the organization. This includes not only computer systems, but also phone systems, security and business equipment. Matthew comes to CMP with an impressive background in information technology and is skilled and experienced in the most current systems and technology designed to provide optimum performance and efficiency. Matthew earned his degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University.
